We’re partnering with a well-funded AI platform building and deploying production-grade AI systems inside critical institutions - healthcare, financial services, and supply chains. Not demos. Not internal tooling. Real AI, used by real operators, driving measurable outcomes.

The company operates with backing from a top-tier global investment firm (~$30B AUM), direct access to a network of portfolio companies for live deployments, and deep executive-level relationships across industries. Think: Series B-level scale + institutional backing + real-world impact.

The Opportunity

Builder, Translator, Operator

This is a forward-deployed, product-first engineering role. You are not just an engineer — you will define AI strategy, build it, and ship it directly into production environments at major institutions. You’ll collaborate with researchers while owning real-world outcomes, and translate custom solutions into reusable product patterns that compound across deployments.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Work directly with executives, operators, and technical teams at partner institutions
• Define AI strategy for each deployment, then build and ship it end to end
• Identify high-leverage use cases tied to real, measurable business value
• Deploy LLM-powered systems into production environments at major institutions
• Build agents, workflows, and human-in-the-loop systems
• Translate custom solutions into reusable product patterns for future deployments
• Contribute to an internal platform for agentic workflow deployment

What We’re Looking For

Core Signals - Must-Have

• 3+ years building AI-powered systems in a production environment
• Experience shipping real products, not just prototypes or research
• Background at a high-growth startup with a real engineering bar
• Comfortable being both hands-on builder and a mentor to others

Technical Strength

• Python and/or TypeScript at a production level
• Cloud + DevOps proficiency - AWS, GCP, or Azure
• RAG pipelines and automated workflow systems
• Ability to go from idea to deployed system quickly and independently

Mindset

• You want to build, not just research
• You’re energized by messy, real-world problems with high stakes
• You’re comfortable writing custom solutions from scratch
• You prioritize impact over perfection

Nice to Have

• Experience deploying AI into regulated industries - healthcare, financial services, or supply chain
• Direct experience working with C-suite or executive stakeholders at enterprise customers
