Job summary

Amadeus Search in New York City is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to build production AI solutions for healthcare use cases. You’ll own end-to-end AI workflows from data extraction to deployment in customer-facing products.

You will collaborate with a compact team, ship scalable systems using Python, React, TS, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes, and shape product strategy with direct impact on patient outcomes. On-site, with competitive compensation and equity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in applied AI, ML engineering, or software engineering with a focus on AI/ML applications.
• Strong Python skills; experience with React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes preferred.
• Ability to operate independently in a high-autonomy environment.
• Strong product and business intuition with an ability to translate complex AI solutions into impactful products.
• Passion for healthcare, AI, and creating meaningful outcomes through technology.

You’ll work on real production use cases of LLMs and ML techniques to solve business problems, drive zero-to-one AI product development, and deliver solutions that directly impact patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
