Job summary

VELOX seeks an AI Developer to design and implement intelligent systems shaping internal operations and client performance visibility. In Boise, you will work with product engineers, data strategists, and leadership to build proprietary tools that transform how performance data is used.

You will contribute from NLP interfaces to predictive models, accelerating VELOX into a platform-enabled growth engine. This is a full-time in-house role at our Boise HQ.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python with ML tooling.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience in NLP and LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Mistral).
• Knowledge of data pipelines, model deployment, and monitoring.
• Experience integrating ML models via APIs in production.
• Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS).
• Cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• Bonus: Laravel & MySQL integration.
• Bonus: LangChain or LlamaIndex frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and deploy AI/ML models across client/internal apps.
• Build tools for predictive analytics, NLP querying, and campaign automation.
• Collaborate with product/eng engineering to integrate AI in web platforms.
• Integrate AI with PHP/Laravel backend and MySQL via APIs or microservices.
• Write scalable code for inference, training, and testing pipelines.
• Monitor model performance and retrain as needed.
• Stay ahead of LLMs, vector DBs, and open-source AI advances.
• Contribute to long-term AI strategy for automated insights.
