Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to build production-ready AI applications for networking and security. You will design and implement AI-powered data pipelines, LLM applications, and analytics to improve visibility, anomaly detection, and incident analysis.

You will develop scalable data pipelines, deploy LLM/RAG applications, and collaborate with senior engineers to deliver dashboards and reliable production services in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, software engineering, and object-oriented design
• Education or work experience combinations as listed in the minimum qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design ETL/ELT workflows in Python and SQL across cloud and distributed data platforms
• Build, evaluate, and monitor production LLM, RAG, and ML applications for automated troubleshooting
• Partner with senior engineers to write maintainable code, dashboards, and support live production services
