Job summary

GC AI, a leading legal AI platform, seeks a Member of Technical Staff to drive core AI/LLM infrastructure from conception to production. You will architect systems, lead LLM evaluation and integration, and mentor a growing team of AI engineers in a fast-paced startup environment.

You’ll shape our technical strategy, collaborate with the CTO, and deliver AI features that transform how in-house legal teams work, with remote-friendly and hybrid work options across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years focused on AI systems.
• Deep expertise in LLM implementation and optimization.
• Strong track record of building production AI systems at scale.
• Experience with modern AI frameworks and tools.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers.
• Strong foundation in TypeScript and modern software architecture.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience building software.
