Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Application Software Engineer, Applied AI to design and deploy AI-enabled software powering production, flight, and Starlink operations. You will own end-to-end lifecycle from prototype to production, partnering with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.

We value hands-on experience with modern LLMs, agentic systems, and reliable, production-grade architectures. On-site role based in McGregor, Texas, with strong emphasis on safety and impactful mission outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or 2+ years in software.
• 1+ years of full-stack development is required.
• Experience with modern AI models and prod deployments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop reliable software used across SpaceX for AI-powered applications.
• Evaluate, deploy, and integrate AI models into production.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle from prototype to production.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
• Design scalable architectures for agentic workflows and AI tools.
