Job summary

Aflac is seeking a Data Mod & Applied AI Lead in the continental US with a focus on AI-enabled program management and data platform strategies. The role blends leadership in delivery with hands-on oversight of AI-enabled specifications and governance across complex programs.

Candidates should have 6+ years leading technology programs, experience with cloud data platforms, AI tools, and git workflows, plus a track record delivering high-autonomy teams in regulated industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 6+ years leading or managing technology programs (delivery manager, PM, etc.).
• Experience with data platforms, data engineering, or analytics/BI programs.
• Experience with AI coding/productivity tools.
• Experience working in or adjacent to git-based development workflows.
• Track record delivering complex programs with small, high-autonomy teams.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-enabled requirements management using AI tools and agents to define objectives, acceptance criteria, and constraints.
• Own and evolve the program knowledge ecosystem with architecture docs, decisions, roadmaps, and standards.
• Drive data-informed execution by using repository metrics to monitor progress and outcomes.
• Manage and prioritize the delivery portfolio, decompose initiatives into actionable workstreams.
• Ensure solution quality by validating capabilities against acceptance criteria.
• Enhance delivery standards and governance for scalable AI-enabled development.
• Translate technical progress into business outcomes with clear metrics and communications.
• Guide strategic trade-offs to balance speed, quality, cost, risk, and automation.
• Define and measure program success with KPIs and value realization frameworks.
• Champion AI-driven ways of working to accelerate innovation and productivity.
• Performs other duties as required.
