Job summary

The Town of Windsor Information Technology Department seeks an Application Systems Administrator to manage enterprise applications, provide robust customer service, and lead change management activities. You will work under the IT Operations Supervisor and collaborate with team members to deliver reliable technology services.

Responsibilities include configuring systems, releasing updates, generating reports, and supporting ERP initiatives while maintaining security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience in the management of Applications.
• Two (2) years of experience in IT with project change and project management methodologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise software, testing and deployment or similar software products.
• Experience with technical project execution involving cross-functional teams and project management processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Experience managing applications on Microsoft Windows operating systems and TCP/IP networks.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience providing required knowledge and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support, system configuration, integration, change management, testing, implementation, performance tuning, and overall application management to all enterprise applications.
• Assist in designing, scripting, testing, debugging, and documenting applications.
• Use troubleshooting skills and problem management to diagnose issues.
• Perform application releases to production following change management procedures.
• Create reports and write queries to support business teams.
• Manage, triage, and prioritize incoming user support requests including operational issues and data problems.
• Collaborate with IT team to assist ERP and automation opportunities and deliver quality services to customers.
• Communicate with stakeholders and vendors to assess needs, describe changes, manage projects, and maintain budgets.
