Job summary

ChemFinity Technologies in New York is looking for an Applications Scientist to support performance testing and R&D projects. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to develop and validate mineral recovery technologies.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field and at least 3 years of industry experience. This role offers competitive compensation and opportunities for growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience or a Ph.D. ideally in mineral processing.
• Experience operating and troubleshooting ICP-OES or similar instruments.
• Ability to manage projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform rapid testing of sorbent and mineral recovery performance.
• Support R&D and piloting across the team on proprietary sorbents.
• Maintain accurate lab documentation and sample logs.
