Job summary

Lentech Inc. seeks a versatile IT Systems Engineer to support all ANDS teams. The role blends Systems Administration and Operations Support, focusing on data reliability, performance monitoring, and proactive troubleshooting.

You will monitor metrics, logs, dashboards, and alerts to prevent downtime and ensure optimal application health. Active TS.SCI with FSP through MD and 6+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active and current TS.SCI w FSP through MD.
• Six or more years of experience in relevant fields.
• Experience with monitoring tools: Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, CloudWatch.
• Linux systems administration: service control, logs, rebooting servers.
• Cloud/AWS operations: EC2 health checks and basic troubleshooting.
• Dataflow tools like Apache NiFi, Cribl, Kafka, Logstash; monitoring data movement.
• DevOps: Terraform, Ansible, GitLab Pipelines, Docker.

Responsibilities

• Blended role across all teams in ANDS.
• Monitor data reliability and performance; troubleshoot proactively.
• Maintain system health via metrics, logs, dashboards, alerts.
• Support watchfloor operations; identify service degradation and escalate.
• Perform basic Linux admin tasks; manage services, logs, and reboots.
• Use AWS Console/CLI to check instance health and restart servers.
• Work on a rotating 6am–6pm / 6pm–6am shift for 24/7 support.
