Job summary

Graver Technologies LLC, part of Marmon Holdings, seeks a motivated Chemist/Engineer for the Adsorbents Group to support both commercial and technical activities. You will provide technical support to sales and customers and collaborate with R&D on product development, scale-up, validation, and analytical characterization.

This role links R&D, Operations, Quality and Commercial teams to drive successful product commercialization. Strong problem-solving and cross-functional teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 5+ years in a laboratory or technical role within water treatment, environmental chemistry, materials science, or related industry.
• Experience with process scale-up and product development preferred.
• Familiarity with QA/regulatory testing and laboratory best practices.
• Experience with adsorbent materials (activated carbon, ion exchange resins, etc.).
• Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork; self-motivated and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Applications & Technical Support: provide technical support to sales and customers, recommend products, evaluate performance, troubleshoot.
• Product Development and Scale-up: collaborate on formulation, synthesis, testing, and scaling manufacturing processes.
• Quality & Regulatory Support: perform product analytical characterization and troubleshooting.
• Raw Material Qualification: evaluate and qualify new materials with procurement and R&D.
• External Collaboration: coordinate with external contract laboratories for tests.
• Safety & Compliance: follow lab safety procedures and maintain a safe environment.
