Job summary

Eaton’s Early Career Programs offer an internship in Applications Engineering where you’ll collaborate with lead engineers to develop test fixtures for switchgear and motor control assemblies, document control schematics, and support engineering systems enhancements.

The role requires active enrollment in an electrical or mechanical engineering program, a minimum GPA of 2.8, and willingness to relocate across Eaton sites in the United States. Sponsorship for immigration is not available.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum overall GPA 2.8 (unrounded).
• Geographically relocate within the United States to Eaton sites.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position (CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.).

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to develop test fixtures for verifying performance of Switchgear and Motor Control assemblies.
• Document and organize standards for control schematics and collateral to fulfill customer requirements.
• Improve productivity of the applications engineering function through testing and engineering systems implementations.
