Job summary

Din Development Corporation seeks an experienced Applications Engineer - Senior to analyze complex system requirements and design reusable software tools. You will oversee implementation, estimate delivery effort, and improve existing programs in a remote US setting.

The role requires a decade of relevant experience, a technical BA/BS, and a Secret clearance with IAT II certification. Preference for AWS Bedrock/SageMaker, GCP experience, and API integration capabilities.

Qualifications

• Ten years of relevant experience in software/systems engineering.
• BA/BS in a technical discipline required.
• Demonstrated AI/ML model development and deployment in AWS GovCloud required.
• Secret clearance required.
• 8570/8140: IAT II (Security+) certification required.

Description:

• Use formal specifications, data-flow diagrams, CASE tools, and accepted design techniques

Qualifications:

• Years of Experience: Ten (10) years of relevant experience
• Education Level: BA/BS in a technical discipline
• Demonstrated experience developing AI / ML models and applications in AWS GovCloud is required
• Clearance Requirements: Secret
• Certification Requirements:
  • 8570/8140: IAT II (Security+)

• Preferred Qualifications::
  • Preferred experience developing and deploying AI/ML or generative-AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock, Meta Llama models, and Amazon SageMaker in AWS; AWS GovCloud experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience engineering and integrating AI/ML applications in Google Cloud Platform or comparable cloud environments is a plus.
  • Experience developing applications that ingest and process data, infrastructure logs, application logs, and transaction records.
  • Experience integrating AI/ML models with enterprise applications, interfaces, and operational workflows.
  • Experience designing APIs, web services, batch interfaces, and utility integrations.
  • Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform or comparable API-management and integration platforms.

  • Experience implementing Section 508-compliant web capabilities.
  • Experience supporting unit, interface, integration, regression, performance, security, and acceptance testing.
  • Experience troubleshooting production applications, implementing hot fixes, and resolving integration or performance issues.
  • Experience with AWS GovCloud or DoD Impact Level 5 environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with EDI, ANSI X12, XML, SQL databases, and high-volume transaction processing in logistics and supply chain environments is preferred.
