Job summary

FS ELLIOTT Co. is seeking an Applications Engineer to develop technical solutions aligning product offerings with customer needs. Responsibilities include preparing proposals, generating aerodynamic selections, and collaborating across Sales, Finance, and Product Management.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, experience with centrifugal compressors, and strong communication skills. This role offers the chance to support innovative projects and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong commitment to quality, accountability, and urgency.
• Familiarity with API level applications specifically API 672 and 614 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute technical engineering for new compressor quotes.
• Attend and support technical meetings for prospective projects.
• Generate aerodynamic selections based on customer requirements.
• Develop Internal Price Build Ups (IPBU) reflecting customer specifications.
• Review customer specifications for compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to establish pricing for non-standard requirements.
• Create comprehensive proposals including IPBU and scope of supply.
