Job summary

Kane Partners LLC is seeking an engineer to act as the technical bridge between customers, sales, and engineering in the field of industrial automation. You will troubleshoot, recommend sensors and PLC-based solutions, and participate in hands-on training with experienced engineers.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of industrial experience, a 2-year technical degree (4-year preferred), and strong communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly to customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical, engineering, or hands-on industrial experience.
• Experience with industrial sensors, controls, or automation.
• 2-year technical degree required; 4-year engineering/technical degree strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of PLCs and how they function
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with customers
• Ability to take a complex technical concept and make it easy to understand
• Curious, self-directed, and comfortable learning new technology

Responsibilities

• Help customers troubleshoot technical questions and identify the right solutions
• Work closely with sales as the technical resource between customers and internal teams
• Talk with customers by phone, email, chat, and Teams
• Recommend products and solutions based on the customer's application
• Learn a broad range of industrial automation technologies and products
