The Role

We are seeking a full-time, professional, career-oriented engineer to join our Monarch System Management Applications team.

A key aspect for all DGM customers is maintaining and administering their SCADA systems and related applications to keep pace with electrical network expansion and updates.

The System Management Application Engineers support system management application implementation and define maintenance strategies on customer projects. This involves working closely with project teams to understand system requirements and use cases, and teaching customers how to utilize DGM applications to improve maintenance and administration in terms of quality, efficiency, and safety. Success requires becoming a subject matter expert in system maintenance principles and collaborating with SMEs across product areas to design integrations with modeling tools, advanced applications, and third-party products.

Your Responsibilities

1. Assess customer requirements and design solutions, including leading design and configuration workshops.
2. Guide project engineers in configuring the System Management applications.
3. Train customers on maintenance tools and best practices.
4. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for System Management & maintenance questions, troubleshooting, and challenges.
5. Define and refine product and system configuration standards and templates.
6. Participate as an assigned project member, focusing on System Management applications when required.
7. Maintain a knowledge base of system management principles and provide guidance based on this repository.
8. Manage database content, display, model, calculations, scripts, system settings, permissions, user and console administration, and software patching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of Project Engineering experience.
• Experience with SCADA and/or OT systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize strategically.
• Experience or knowledge of utility operations is preferred.
• Expertise in data management and maintenance principles is preferred.

The salary range for this role is $74,200 - $92,800. This range reflects our current good-faith estimate of the base compensation for this position at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as experience and location. The role is eligible for bonus or incentive pay. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, charitable giveback day, health insurance, and retirement benefits.
