Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Applications Engineer for the High Speed Data Converters product line within the Data Converters and Clocks (DCC) unit. You will work to define reference designs for end equipment like SDRs, radar, and RF instrumentation, collaborating with systems, marketing and cross-functional teams worldwide.

Responsibilities include creating reference boards, aiding design-in activities, and developing documentation such as user guides and application notes to illustrate

Qualifications

  • Minimum: BS in Electrical Engineering.
  • 2+ years in Analog/RF systems, SW automation, mixed-signal PCB or systems integration.

Responsibilities

  • Support early design activities with systems and marketing engineers.
  • Create reference design boards and evaluation modules for end equipment.
  • Define reference designs to grow markets and ensure standards compliance.
  • Develop PCB schematic, layout, FPGA firmware and embedded software for reference designs.
  • Provide on-site design support and write application notes.
