Job summary

Texas Instruments’ High Speed Data Converters (HSC) product line seeks an Applications Engineer within the Data Converters and Clocks (DCC) BU. You will design reference designs for end equipment such as SDRs and radar, and collaborate with systems and marketing to define customer-centric solutions.

You will create evaluation modules, document user guides, and provide post‑ramp application support while expanding a deep appreciation for hardware, software, RF, FPGA firmware, DSP, and power

Qualifications

  • Experience with high-speed data converters or RF systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to design reference designs and evaluation modules.
  • Strong collaboration with systems, marketing, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Work with systems and marketing engineers to support early design activities for new products.
  • Create reference design boards and evaluation modules for end equipment like SDRs and RF instrumentation.
  • Author user guides and test procedures for release of EVM boards to customers.
  • Provide on-site or remote design-in support and answer customer questions and forum inquiries.
  • Drive silicon testing from an application perspective and develop application notes.
