Job summary

Enerpac Tool Group is seeking an Applications Engineer for the Deer Park, TX area. The role focuses on translating customer requirements into safe, manufacturable machining and field service solutions.

You will bridge Operations, Engineering, Field Services, and Commercial to ensure feasibility, planning, and successful handover to Operations. The position supports pre-sales activities, requires 5+ years of experience, and involves 20–40% travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in machining, manufacturing engineering, CNC programming, or application engineering.
• Must be able to pass site-specific background and drug tests.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• TWIC card preferred, ability to obtain a TWIC card.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Passport preferred, ability to obtain a passport.

Responsibilities

• Engineered solutions: develop optimized machining solutions, analyze challenges, support trials and document results.
• Operational Readiness & Handover: own technical handover, define scope, risks, and tooling readiness.
• Project Execution & Customer Implementation: manage project execution, ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Field & Execution Support: provide on-site and remote technical support during trials and execution.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: collaborate with Operations, Field Services, Engineering, and Supply Chain to improve readiness and processes.
