Job summary

Electrosoft Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to analyze complex system requirements and design software tools for reuse in federal projects. You will manage development efforts, apply formal specifications and CASE tools, and contribute to cost and schedule estimates.

A strong engineering background and security clearance are required to support mission-critical programs. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, review existing code, supervise configuration

Qualifications

  • Requires a BA/BS in a technical discipline and at least ten years of experience.
  • Must have a nationally recognized technical certification.
  • Allows IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) clearance at proposal time.

Applications Engineer - Senior

  • Analyzes and studies complex system requirements.
  • Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation.
  • Manage software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools.
  • Estimates software development costs and schedule.
  • Review existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques.
  • Supervises software configuration management.
  • BA/BS in a technical discipline with at least ten (10) years of experience
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
  • Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission.
