Job summary

The University of South Florida, Tampa, seeks an Applications Developer II to develop and maintain reports and web applications supporting academic coordination within the MDOB Financial Management team.

Under supervision of the Assistant Dean, you will plan, develop, update, and maintain websites, web apps, databases, and servers, performing systems analysis, programming, and data development with a focus on Power BI and SQL reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus IT-related work experience as specified; or Master’s degree with IT experience.
• SB 1310 substitute provisions may apply; eligible for postsecondary education equivalence.
• Experience with developing web applications and databases is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop programming code or software modifications using appropriate languages and tools.
• Test and debug programs with users; modify existing or third-party software.
• Maintain and support associated databases and documentation; write user support materials.
• Analyze user needs, design integrated solutions across applications, databases and networks.
