Job summary

The University of South Florida's Muma College of Business seeks an Applications Developer II to assist in developing and maintaining reports and web applications that support academic coordination. You will work under the Assistant Dean of Financial Management to plan, develop, update, and maintain websites, web apps, databases, and servers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field with 2 years IT experience; or a Bachelor's with 3 years; or a Master's with 1 year.
• Preparation for a relevant IT certification is considered related training.
• Experience in developing web applications using C# and ASP.NET is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop programming code or software modifications using appropriate languages and tools to optimize resources and meet functional user requirements.
• Develop program code, assemble/compile code, and debug code to meet user specifications.
• Use productivity tools to develop and modify applications software.
• Work with users to test and debug programs.
• Modify existing or third party software.
• Write documentation to provide user support for programs and for production/operating procedures.
• Maintain and support associated databases.
