Fenwick & West seeks an Applications Developer to join the Solutions & Automation team in Santa Monica, CA. This early-career role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise apps, AI-enabled tools, cloud services, and modern automation practices.

Build and enhance internal web apps, APIs, and integrations while collaborating with stakeholders across the firm. The role emphasizes learning, ownership, and delivering secure, maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with at least one modern programming language.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance internal web applications, tools, APIs, and integrations.
• Support AI and automation initiatives with Copilot, Azure AI services, and AI platforms.
• Work with SQL databases, reporting solutions, dashboards, and data-driven improvements.
• Participate in Azure-hosted applications and cloud migration projects.
• Troubleshoot issues, document systems, and streamline manual processes.
• Contribute ideas to improve user experience and team efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and report progress.
• Own assigned work from start to finish.
• Look for simple, secure, and maintainable system improvements.
• Learn new technologies quickly as project needs evolve.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
