Job summary

Fenwick & West is seeking an Applications Developer to join the Solutions & Automation team. This role offers hands-on exposure to enterprise applications, AI-enabled tools, cloud services, data platforms, and modern automation practices.

The team designs, builds, and supports technology solutions that improve efficiency and enable innovation across the firm, working with real production systems while developing foundational skills in application development, automation, data, and cloud

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on development experience in a professional services environment.
Exposure to cloud platforms and AI or automation tools is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.

Responsibilities

Build and enhance internal web applications, business tools, APIs, and integrations.
Support AI and automation initiatives involving Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI services, internal AI platforms, workflow automation, and AI-enabled search.
Work with SQL databases, reporting solutions, dashboards, and data-driven process improvements.
Participate in Azure-hosted application work, cloud migration, and modernizing existing systems.
Help troubleshoot issues, document systems, and streamline manual processes.
Contribute ideas to improve user experience and team efficiency.
Communicate progress clearly with stakeholders and gather requirements.
