Arrow Electronics seeks an Applications Architect for Warehouse Management Systems to lead operations, optimize processes, and manage technology transformations across distribution and fulfillment environments. The role combines hands-on warehousing expertise with strategic WMS implementation and integrations.

The candidate will drive KPI dashboards, change management, and seamless WMS/ERP/TMS/MES integrations, while ensuring throughput, accuracy, and service levels across the network.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in warehouse operations and distribution centers
• 5+ years implementing or supporting WMS
• Experience with warehouse process design and optimization
• Hands-on with WMS implementations and support
• Experience integrating WMS with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics)
• Proven track record of managing warehouse automation projects

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end warehouse operations: receiving, put-away, inventory management, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, returns
• Ensure operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and service level compliance
• Develop and implement KPIs and operational dashboards
• Analyze processes for cost reduction and optimization
• Standardize procedures and ensure best-practice adherence
• Design workflow improvements to boost throughput and reduce cycle times
• Lead WMS implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives
• Translate business requirements into system configurations and integrations between WMS, ERP, TMS, MES, and third-party apps

Position: Applications Architect - Warehouse Management Systems

Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations & WMS Implementation Manager to lead warehouse operations, process optimization initiatives, and technology transformation projects across distribution and fulfillment environments. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in warehouse management, inventory control, logistics operations, and successful implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including integration with automation technologies such as conveyors, sortation systems, ASRS, robotics, RF devices, and ERP platforms. This role requires a strong blend of operational excellence, process improvement expertise, and technical knowledge to drive efficiency, inventory accuracy, productivity, and scalable warehouse solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, inventory management, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
• Ensure operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and service level compliance.
• Develop and implement warehouse KPIs, operational dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Analyze current warehouse processes and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvement.
• Standardize operational procedures and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Conduct workflow analysis and redesign warehouse processes to improve throughput and reduce cycle times.
• Lead change management activities during process and technology transformations.
• Lead Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
• Gather business requirements and translate operational needs into system configurations.
• Design and oversee integrations between WMS, ERP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), MES, and third-party applications.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of warehouse operations and distribution center experience.
• 5+ years of experience implementing or supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proven experience with warehouse process design, optimization, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with implementation and supporting WMS platforms.
• Experience integrating WMS with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Demonstrated experience managing warehouse automation projects and system integrations.

Work Arrangement

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday required office days for Panorama Office site; Monday, Friday-work from home.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate: $121,300.00 - $192,995.00 Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
