Palomar Health is seeking an Application Architect II to shape our technology landscape, providing technical leadership for scalable, high-performance application architectures. The Application Architect II will play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape of our organization, ensuring the development and implementation of cutting-edge application architectures. The Application Architect II will provide technical leadership, guide development teams, and contribute to the strategic direction of our IT solutions.
Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.
Knowledge of and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, internet, e-mail).
Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Minimum Experience: 3 - 5 years related experience in an Application Architect or similar leadership role. Extensive knowledge of application development life cycle, software design principles, and architectural patterns. Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable, distributed, and high-performance applications. Experience with cloud-based application architectures.
Preferred Experience: 5 plus years of experience in a similar role in a Healthcare setting with proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks.
