Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking an Applications Analyst II to provide end-user and systems validation support for our Data Management and Integrity Tools, including LabArchives, StudyTrax, Viva SiteVault, GitLab and related research applications. The role involves designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining software applications, with training support for end users.

The position is hybrid with on-site work in the office, requires M-F Eastern business hours, and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems required.
  • 2–3 years of experience in development, support, or operation of software applications.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews system requirements and business processes; tests, debugs, and implements software solutions.
  • Develops and executes test plans and performs other software quality assurance tasks.
  • Trains end users on operation of software applications. Develops end-user documentation.
  • Provides ongoing support by identifying and resolving issues.
  • Runs reports, updates tables, and performs other tasks associated with the ongoing operation of the software environment.
  • Participates in regular team meetings to discuss team activities, issues, and updates.

Job Summary

Mass General Brigham is expanding support for the research community and seeking an Applications Analyst II. The Applications Analyst II provides end user and systems validation support for MGB Digital Research Application's Data Management and Integrity Tools, including: LabArchives, StudyTrax, Viva SiteVault, GitLab and additional research focused applications. Responsible for providing, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and ongoing maintenance of new and existing software applications. This role also provides training and support to end users.


Essential Functions


  • Reviews system requirements and business processes; tests, debugs, and implements software solutions.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to learn quickly.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other popular office productivity solutions.

  • If utilizing Epic, you must be able to obtain the required certifications as outlined by program requirements.
