Simera is seeking a dedicated QA Tester to join our team. You will execute manual and automated tests, review requirements, and create comprehensive test artifacts to ensure software quality.

This role involves functional, regression, and exploratory testing across web, mobile, and desktop apps, with collaboration across product, design, and development. You will document defects with reproducible steps, assist in release validation, and contribute to process improvements while working remotely

Formación

• Previous experience as an Application Tester, QA Tester, or Software Tester.
• Hands-on experience testing software applications.
• Experience creating and executing manual test cases.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Experience performing functional and regression testing.
• Understanding of software development and release processes.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Experience testing web, mobile, or desktop applications.
• Strong computer and digital skills.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for remote work.
• English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Execute manual and automated tests to validate application functionality and quality
• Review requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify testing needs
• Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, and testing documentation
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track application defects
• Provide clear reproduction steps, expected results, and actual results for reported issues
• Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing after application updates
• Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements
• Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, mobile, and device testing when required
• Test application interfaces, workflows, integrations, and data flows
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to resolve issues
• Monitor testing results and communicate quality risks and concerns
• Support release testing, deployment validation, and production verification activities
• Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, and testing progress
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and tools
