Simera Professional is seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to join their team remotely in the United States. You will execute manual and automated tests, review requirements, and create comprehensive test cases and scripts.

The role involves functional, regression, and exploratory testing across web, mobile, and desktop environments, plus collaboration with developers and product managers to ensure quality.

Qualificações

• Prior experience as an application tester or QA tester
• Experience creating and executing manual test cases
• Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking defects with clear steps
• Familiarity with Jira, TestRail or similar platforms
• Experience testing web, mobile, or desktop apps

Responsabilidades

• Execute manual and automated tests to validate application functionality and quality
• Review requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify testing needs
• Create and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test scripts, and testing documentation
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track application defects
• Provide clear reproduction steps, expected results, and supporting evidence for reported issues
• Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing after application updates
• Validate application functionality against business and technical requirements
• Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, mobile, and device testing when required
• Test application interfaces, workflows, integrations, and data flows
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to investigate and resolve issues
• Monitor testing results and communicate quality risks and concerns
• Support release testing, deployment validation, and production verification activities
• Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, and testing progress
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and application quality

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Application Tester, QA Tester, or Software Tester


• Hands-on experience testing software applications


• Experience creating and executing manual test cases


• Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects


• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms


• Experience performing functional and regression testing


• Understanding of software development and release processes


• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios


• Experience testing web, mobile, or desktop applications


• Strong computer and digital skills


• Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for remote work


• English proficiency
