Job summary

ThreatLocker in Orlando, FL is seeking an entry-level Applications Technician I to join our AppTeam. The role focuses on updating and maintaining applications in client environments, building test environments, and troubleshooting while supporting hardware needs.

This in-office role requires strong communication, basic programming and OS knowledge, and a willingness to learn cybersecurity fundamentals. Candidates may have CompTIA certs and experience with macOS or Red Hat Linux as advantages.

POSITION OVERVIEW

ThreatLocker’s Application Technician role is a fantastic role to start your cybersecurity career. Our Application Technicians are responsible for, but not limited to:

• Updating and maintaining applications within client environments
• Building test environments
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues
• Hardware support
• Other duties as identified and assigned
• The role will be based in Orlando, FL and is an in-office position.

ThreatLocker provides 24/7 support to our global clientele. Therefore, our AppTeam is required to be on a rotating schedule to allow for quality support. Weekend and/or overnight work is required at times, however sufficient notice will be provided.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

WORKING CONDITIONS:
