Job summary

CTC is seeking an Application Support Engineer to develop and support software components for Portfolio Analytics and Risk & Research Technology. You will work on Aladdin integrations, ensure stable analytics outputs, and provide Level 2 production support.

The role includes refactoring, workflow automation, data pipelines, APIs, and collaboration in an Agile environment to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of enterprise development experience, preferably in investment risk or asset management.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver component-level solutions and production support.
• Familiarity with Aladdin, performance attribution, or portfolio analytics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain software components aligned with Aladdin integrations.
• Serve as Level 2 support for production incidents escalated beyond Level 1.
• Refactor code, reduce technical debt, and automate workflows.
• Develop data pipelines, APIs, and validation frameworks for analytics outputs.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and peer code reviews.
• Ensure development standards and documentation are followed consistently.

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer, who will be responsible for developing and supporting software components for Portfolio Analytics and Risk & Research Technology organization. Working under the guidance of the Lead Engineer, this role will focus on delivering stable and efficient integrations with Aladdin, supporting performance and attribution workflows, and resolving Level 2 production issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain software components aligned with Aladdin integrations.
• Serve as Level 2 support for production incidents escalated beyond Level 1.
• Execute refactoring, technical debt cleanup, and workflow automation tasks.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, APIs, and validation frameworks to ensure consistent analytics outputs.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and peer code reviews.
• Ensure development standards and documentation are followed consistently.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of enterprise development experience, preferably within investment risk or asset management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver component-level solutions and production support.
• Familiarity with Aladdin, performance attribution, or portfolio/risk analytics preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Airflow, dbt, SQL, Python, C#, SSIS, GO
• Experience with data engineering, validation, and automation frameworks.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills

The ideal candidate has:

• Experience developing enterprise software applications.
• Good knowledge of Asset Management and Investment Systems.
