Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Application Support Engineer to support the SafeBreach platform for a top financial services client. This role focuses on enterprise application support, access management, and vulnerability remediation in a large, regulated environment.

You will collaborate with security, networking, and vendor teams to maintain a secure and available application, handling upgrades and production issues in coordination with the Application Manager.

Qualifications

• Extensive enterprise app support experience in a large environment.
• Hands-on vulnerability remediation and patching experience.
• Working knowledge of networking/TCP/IP and network configurations.
• Experience troubleshooting application health, connectivity, configurations, logs, and production issues.
• Experience with access management, including user access, permissions, service accounts, and/or application access.
• Experience supporting applications through upgrades, patches, releases, and ongoing maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting across application, network, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Bank of America or regulated banking environment experience preferred.

Job Description:Insight Global is seeking an Application Support Engineer for a top financial services client. This individual will support the administration and ongoing management of SafeBreach, an enterprise breach-and-attack simulation platform. The role will focus heavily on application support, vulnerability remediation and patching, access management, and network configuration/troubleshooting. This person will work closely with the Application Manager and partner across security, networking, infrastructure, and vendor teams to maintain a stable, secure application environment. This is not a development-heavy position, and candidates with enterprise application support experience combined with networking and vulnerability remediation knowledge will be the strongest fit.

• Support the Application Manager in the day-to-day administration of SafeBreach, a breach-and-attack simulation platform
• Manage application and user access, including service accounts, permissions, and machine access
• Support network setup and configuration required for the application
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP, connectivity, proxy, access, and general application issues
• Perform ongoing vulnerability remediation and patching
• Monitor and maintain application health, stability, security, and availability
• Assist with upgrades, releases, configurations, and production support
• Work with security, networking, infrastructure, application, and vendor teams to resolve issues
• Help ensure the application remains compliant with the bank's vulnerability and security requirements

Skills and Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Strong enterprise application support/administration experience in a large environment
• Hands-on vulnerability remediation and patching experience
• Working knowledge of networking/TCP/IP and network configurations
• Experience troubleshooting application health, connectivity, configurations, logs, and production issues
• Experience with access management, including user access, permissions, service accounts, and/or application access
• Experience supporting applications through upgrades, patches, releases, and ongoing maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work across application, network, security, and infrastructure teams
• Experience within Bank of America is highly preferred; other large financial institutions or highly regulated enterprise environments can work
