Job summary

Volto Consulting in Salt Lake City is seeking an Application Support specialist to join our IT team. You will support MES and ERP users, resolve issues on a daily basis, and collaborate with D365 and Apriso teams.

This hybrid role requires on-site presence three times per week and US citizenship. You will communicate with factory floor and office staff, and you will track issues in the helpdesk and software development environment to ensure timely closure.

Qualifications

• Experience as a member of an application support team resolving issues for users of software systems.
• 6-10 years experience in relevant roles.
• The role supports MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and ERP (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations) with Apriso.
• Experience with one or the other is preferred; training provided for both and interfaces between them.

Responsibilities

• Resolve daily issues for users of software systems.
• Track issues for the site in the helpdesk system and in the software development environment to ensure follow-up and closure.
• Collaborate with D365 / Apriso IT Solution Support teams and IT Development teams to drive problem resolution.

Location: Salt Lake City UT, 84101 - (Hybrid - Must be on-site 3 times a week)

Role Requirments

Experience as a member of an application support team resolving issues for users of software systems.

6-10 years Exp

• The role will be supporting both an MES (Manufacturing Execution System)

Apriso and an ERP (financial system)

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

• Experience with one or the other is preferred though we will provide training for both and the interfaces between them
• Must have effective communications skills with users on the factory floor as well as office workers
• Will be assigned issues to resolve daily; this is the primary job duty
• Will be expected to track issues for the Site both in the helpdesk issue system and the software development environment to ensure follow-up and closure
• Will be a member of the D365 / Apriso IT Solution Support team and the IT Development teams to drive problem resolution
