Job summary

Sartorius North America is seeking an Application Specialist covering Lab Filtration and Microbiology for the Central US, ideally based in Denver, Chicago, or Houston. You will deliver demos, trials, and technical support across the customer journey, coordinate with Central Sales, and help drive adoption and revenue growth.

Requires a life sciences background, 3+ years in technical sales or applications support, strong consulting skills, CRM proficiency, and willingness to travel >50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of technical sales, applications support, or customer facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify expanding business opportunities through cross selling with Central Sales.
• Plan, execute, and manage technical demos and trials for customer fit.
• Drive deal progression by promoting product/service portfolio and addressing objections.
• Shape customer proposals and offers with critical technical inputs for closure.
• Provide pre/post-sales technical support to secure adoption and revenue.
• Capture Voice-of-Customer insights for portfolio and sales enablement.
