Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments and meet with existing customers to review applications and identify opportunities.
- Conduct sales presentations and visit customers regularly.
- Liaise with customers regarding pricing, services, and product launches.
- Develop prospect accounts and increase revenue through partnerships.
- Update customers on product modifications and enhancements.
- Attend training and departmental meetings to stay informed about new products and procedures.
- Represent the company professionally at conferences and trade shows.
- Utilize marketing data and sales tools to maximize effectiveness.
- Organize and participate in joint sales calls with distributors.
- Prepare sales and marketing reports and manage expense accounts.
- Maintain and update customer contact information.
- Coordinate with inside sales to provide product quotes.
- Follow up with leads and ensure complete customer profiles are maintained.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience, particularly in Milling, Turning, Grooving.
- Knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes.
- Experience assisting customers with processing parts and selecting appropriate tools.
- High regard for job shop experience.
- Ability to advise on speeds and feeds for materials.
- Experience in designing custom tools is a plus.
- Experience managing current customers and developing new accounts.
- Degree in sales, marketing, or related field is preferred.
