Job Summary

The Application Specialist – Computed Tomography will provide on-site application education for Computed Tomography (CT), including demonstration, updates, and upgrades for standard systems and applications. Successful candidates will demonstrate authenticity and integrity needed to build meaningful and lasting relationships with our customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Provide on-site application education for Computed Tomography (CT), including demonstration, updates, and upgrades for standard systems and applications.
  2. Provide customer consultancy and support in workflow improvements, including clinical education, system parameter adjustments, and implementation of new methods and workflows to expand the customer portfolio.
  3. Provide professional application support to quickly resolve customer complaints; support remotely when not on-site.
  4. Support sales team: product demonstrations, clinical case studies, image presentations to clinicians/physicians, training on new products, and coaching new recruits.
  5. Assist in developing application training courses for delivery at customer locations or at the United Imaging Headquarters and Training Center in Houston.
  6. Support R&D/CRM processes, including gathering customer needs, issues, troubleshooting, and sharing expertise.

Working Conditions:

Magnetic Environment Exposure:

This position requires working in environments with strong magnetic fields, involving exposure to magnets and electromagnetic equipment.

Risk to Ferrous Metals in the Body:

Employees must not wear or carry ferrous metals in designated areas and must disclose any implants or medical devices containing ferrous metals prior to work.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computed Tomography
  • Computed Tomography ARRT Certification

Experience

  • 5+ years as a radiological technologist in healthcare or clinical settings
  • 3+ years as an application specialist in a specific modality
  • CT Cardiac Scanning experience is a plus

Required Skills or Attributes

  • Team player, positive attitude, committed to customer satisfaction
  • Experience in research or case studies in related areas is beneficial
