Acara Solutions seeks an Application Services Engineer on a 12-month contract to manage MFT servers, web apps, and data transfers across Windows and Linux.

You will collaborate with DevOps and development teams to resolve challenges, monitor incidents, and implement secure changes, maintaining least privilege and reliability in data transfer services.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience with Managed data transfer and Integration platforms.
• 3+ years of experience in end-to-end solution design and implementation.
• 3+ years of experience in Managed File Transfer and Cloud architecture.

• Manage, monitor, and secure MFT servers, web app servers, reverse proxies, WAFs, databases, and data transfers across Windows and Linux environments.

What You'll Do:

• Manage, maintain, and monitor MFT servers, web application servers, reverse proxies, WAFs, databases, scheduled tasks, and data transfers across HTTPS, FTPS, SFTP, Open FT, Windows, and Linux environments.
• Collaborate with development and operational teams to understand customer requests, resolve technical challenges, and deliver effective solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot incidents and problems across services, applications, and scheduled jobs, driving issues through to resolution.
• Apply and maintain security settings in line with the principle of least privilege, documenting and managing any deviations appropriately.
• Support the implementation of change requests for data transfer services, applications, and jobs while working closely with relevant stakeholders and partners.

Job Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in working with Managed data transfer and Integration platforms
• 3+ years of experience in end-to-end solution designing and implementation
• 3+ years of experience in Managed File Transfer and Cloud architecture

What Sets You Apart:

• Understanding various data transfer technologies and good understanding on Managed file transfers
• Understanding third party authentication for the web applications (optional)
• Understanding of robotic process automation and extensive experience in logical coding (optional)
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to identify areas of focus and tackle new challenges
• Must be able to communicate effectively and build solid relationships with individuals at all levels, in multiple geographies and business functions
• Strong oral, written, and presentation abilities - able to convey topics to different stakeholders
• Ability to work within a dynamic and fast paced international environment
• Ability to build rapport with other team members and relevant teams
• Drive innovation and best practice
• Strive for standardization and simplification in all aspects of work
• Expert experience on Go Anywhere and File Catalyst
• Good knowledge on tools by Help Systems (Go Anywhere MFT, Threat Detection and Prevention) would be an added advantage
• Programming knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Perl, Bash, PHP, .Net, SQL)
• Logic based automations using MS Flows. Workflows and RPA's
• Collaborating with other architects, DevOps engineers, and infrastructure teams to ensure a seamless deployment of all solution from development to production
• Assist in designing and implementing solutions that are both customer‑centric, and provide the best possible experience for developers, operators, and architects while meeting Organization's requirements
• Work closely with our partners to ensure that they have a great experience on cloud
