Job summary

IDR is seeking an Application Security Engineer to join one of our top clients. This role focuses on securing applications across Salesforce, .NET, and Azure App Services through DevSecOps, security tools, and penetration testing.

You will build and run the organization's application security program, drive secure coding practices, and collaborate with developers to remediate vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Application Security or related field.
• Strong secure coding and code review with .NET and Salesforce/Apex.
• Hands-on Salesforce security architecture experience, including configuration and access controls.
• CI/CD security experience integrating security tools into Git and Azure DevOps workflows.
• Experience with SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security testing.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement the organizations application security / DevSecOps program.
• Integrate application security into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
• Manage penetration testing and vulnerability testing processes.
• Implement and manage static and dynamic code analysis.
• Manage the full application security lifecycle from testing through remediation.
• Partner with developers to identify, remediate, and prevent application security vulnerabilities.
• Train developers and establish secure coding/application security practices across the organization.
