Job summary
Guild Mortgage Company is seeking an Application Security Engineer to safeguard our applications, including AI-enabled services, across the SDLC. You will review code, tune security tests in CI/CD, identify and triage vulnerabilities, and collaborate with product, engineering, DevOps and compliance.
This exempt role offers a targeted salary range of $82,000 to $118,000 and a comprehensive benefits package aligned with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security or equivalent preferred.
- 3+ years' experience as a software developer or similar role.
- Experience with secure development practices and security testing tools.
Responsibilities
- Apply and maintain secure development practices within CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify, validate, and triage application vulnerabilities using automated and manual testing.
- Support secure coding practices and remediation in development teams.
- Assist incident response with application security investigations.
- Perform threat modeling exercises and risk assessments for new/existing apps.
