Job summary

Olsson is seeking a highly motivated Cybersecurity Program Specialist to join our growing cybersecurity team. This role focuses on application security and driving broader security initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate has experience securing applications, partnering with development teams, and leading cross‑functional security projects from conception through implementation, including Zero Trust architecture and vulnerability management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, application security, or information security.
• Experience with application security tools, methodologies, and secure coding practices.
• Knowledge of common vulnerabilities, including the OWASP Top 10.
• Experience performing security assessments and vulnerability analysis.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with development, infrastructure, cloud, and technology teams to integrate security across the organization.
• Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis while driving remediation efforts.
• Support security monitoring, incident response, threat detection, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to Zero Trust and security architecture efforts, including identity and access management controls.
• Lead cybersecurity projects, track key metrics, and support strategic planning and roadmap development.
