Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have strong engineering foundation and be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• BA/BS Engineering degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing or related discipline. 7+ years of relevant experience may substitute education.
• Inside sales experience or customer service experience preferred.
• Computer literate in CAD and Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers and sales teams with technical product and application support via phone, email, and site visits.
• Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge, specifications, and the ability to highlight technical merits.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering to understand customer needs, determine technical requirements, promote ANCORP products, and provide sales support.
• Provide customers with quotes and lead times for products.
• Drive revenue growth by managing the sales cycle from technical qualification through to deal closure.
• Partner with sales to identify opportunities and develop strategies.
• Read RFQ drawings and manufacturing drawings and prepare bid proposals/responses.
• Follow up on customer needs and quotations and address concerns.
