Job summary

Evapco, a leader in packaged refrigeration solutions, seeks an Application and Marketing Engineer for Industrial Packaged Systems in Taneytown, MD. You will provide technical sales support, perform equipment selections, prepare proposals, and coordinate projects from inquiry to startup.

You will interact with customers, sales reps, contractors, and engineers, develop marketing materials, and help standardize products. Travel 10–20% as needed to meet customers and attend conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Refrigeration, HVACR, or related fields.
• Experience with ammonia (NH3) and/or transcritical CO2 technologies preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills; proficient in MS Office and related engineering software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales and application engineering support for Evapco's Packaged System solutions (NH3 & CO2 products).
• Perform equipment selections, system evaluations, and component sizing for packaged refrigeration systems.
• Develop technical and commercial proposals and coordinate project execution from inquiry through startup.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Product Development, Service, and Marketing to support project delivery.
• Assist in development of marketing materials, technical databases, and training materials for Packaged Systems.
• Travel as needed to meet with customers and sales representatives and attend industry conferences.
