Fiskars Group is seeking an Application Manager with solid expertise in Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta) and strong technical and business understanding to strengthen our ERP Application Management team.

As Application Manager for Axapta, you will own the ongoing operations, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of our Dynamics AX platform and its integrations. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT project managers, architects, and external partners to ensure application performance, stability, and compliance.

You will also serve as a 1st and 2nd line expert advisor, helping users maximize platform value and handling change requests and improvement initiatives efficiently. Your responsibilities include monitoring service performance, managing vendor relations, supporting audits, and identifying opportunities for innovation to meet current and future business needs. You will lead a team of internal and external consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the stable and compliant operation of Axapta and related integrations.
• Act as primary contact for business stakeholders regarding Axapta functionality and improvements.
• Manage incidents, service requests, release management, and problem resolutions with IT partners.
• Drive application lifecycle management, including patching, upgrades, and end-of-life planning.
• Ensure compliance with Fiskars Group IT policies, security, and GDPR requirements.
• Support system audits and maintain relevant documentation.
• Collaborate on new developments, rollouts, and enhancements.
• Facilitate user support, training, and technical coaching.
• Monitor service costs and performance to ensure value for money.
• Contribute to IT roadmaps and architecture discussions.
• Manage and coordinate team members tasks and roles.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or master’s Degree or relevant education.
• Microsoft Dynamics Axapta certification preferred.

Experience & Knowledge:

• Proven ERP application management experience, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or later).
• Strong technical understanding of application operations, data integrations, and IT service management.
• Ability to translate business needs into IT solutions.
• Experience with incident, problem, and release management processes.
• Stakeholder management and good communication skills.
• People management skills and ability to motivate teams.
• Team player with a structured, robust approach and quick overview creation.
• Conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently in a global, hybrid environment.

Language Skills:

• English as daily working language.
