Job summary

Capital Electric in South Carolina is seeking an Application Engineer to support our sales team and drive automation and control growth. You will receive hands-on training from experienced engineers, gaining insights into automation solutions, energy audits, kitting and assembly, and on-site engineering services.

We require a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical preferred) and familiarity with PLCs, drives, and sensors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical preferred).
• Experience with PLCs, drives, sensor setups; familiarity with automation.
• Customer service background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support industrial end user accounts, system integrators, panel builders and OEM customers.
• Keep up with new product development and relay information to customers.
• Help Account Manager develop new customer relationships.
• Drive automation and control growth including PLCs, drives, sensors, HMIs.
• Keep up with vendor training and certification courses.
• Conduct customer training on automation and control products.
• Attend training as required by Capital Electric.

As An Application Engineer, You'll Play a Crucial Role In Supporting Our Sales Team's Efforts To Drive Automation And Control Growth. Responsibilities

Requirements
