Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, seeks an Application Engineer in South Carolina to support sales teams with automation and control solutions. You will receive hands-on training from experienced engineers, gaining insights into energy audits, kitting and on-site engineering services, and more.

Responsibilities include supporting end users and systems integrators, relaying product developments to customers, and helping build new relationships with accounts.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in engineering; electrical engineering is preferred.
• Experience with PLCs, drives, sensor setups, etc. is preferred.
• Customer service background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Industrial end user accounts, systems integrators, panel builders and OEM customers.
• Keep up with new product development and relay information to customers.
• Help the Account Manager develop new customer relationships.
• Drive automation and control growth including PLCs, drives, sensors, HMIs, etc.
• Keep up with required vendor training including certification level courses.
• Conduct customer training on automation and control products.
• Attend training as required by Capital Electric.
• Other duties as required.

As an Application Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our sales team's efforts to drive Automation and Control growth. This position is specifically tailored for emerging professionals who are eager to learn and contribute to cutting-\u2010edge technology solutions. You will receive hands-\u2010on training from our experienced application engineers, gaining valuable insights into automation solutions, energy audits, kitting and assembly, on-\u2010site engineering services and much more.
