Job summary

Allied Universal Technology Services is seeking an Application Engineer to support installation and service teams with software integration, troubleshooting, commissioning, upgrades and advanced diagnostics.

You will work on integrating security systems, configuring networks, and coordinating with project teams to ensure reliable operation and adoption of software solutions across client sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications with access control and video platforms (AMAG/Lenel/Milestone/Genetec/Software House) preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years programming and troubleshooting access control and video systems.
• Advanced knowledge of leading security system providers.
• Ability to read and understand advanced technical information and documentation.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint/Project/SharePoint/Word).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Integrate electronic security systems to deliver cohesive, advanced solutions.
• Configure LAN/Wi‑Fi networks to ensure reliable connectivity and performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues for optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with project teams and end users to support software deployment.
• Resolve software‑related issues and escalate when needed.
• Coordinate project timelines and resources with management for efficiency.
• Lead end‑user training and manage licensing for successful adoption.
