Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Application Engineer to support installation and service teams with software integration across security systems. You will troubleshoot, program, and commission systems while upgrading components and performing advanced diagnostics.

Responsibilities include configuring LAN and wireless networks, diagnosing issues, collaborating with project teams, and leading end-user training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification(s) with access control systems and video platforms (AMAG, Lenel, Milestone, Genetec, Software House or similar).
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience programming and troubleshooting access control and video systems.
• Advanced knowledge of leading security system and equipment providers.
• Decision-making and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to read and understand advanced technical information and documentation.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint and Word).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, programming, system commissioning, upgrades, and advanced diagnostics.
