Join a dynamic and forward-thinking team as an Application Engineer supporting advanced automation solutions and robotics integration across diverse industries. This is a remote role , open to candidates located anywhere in the United States , provided they are within close proximity to a major airport. Expect to be on the road frequently , as this position involves extensive domestic travel to customer sites, often on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site technical support , installation , and commissioning of robotic automation systems.
• Collaborate with project managers , sales engineers , and product developers to define technical solutions.
• Conduct system diagnostics , troubleshooting , and field testing to ensure optimal system performance.
• Train clients on robot programming , system operation , and preventive maintenance.
• Serve as a key liaison between customers and internal engineering teams , ensuring clear communication and technical alignment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering , Mechatronics , or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation , robotics , or machine integration.
• Proficiency in robot programming languages (e.g., KUKA KRL, ABB RAPID, FANUC TP, etc.).
• Strong skills in PLC programming , motion control , and system integration.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 80% across the U.S.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving , and customer-facing skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and U.S. work authorization.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with KUKA robots and automation software platforms.
