Job summary

UCC Environmental LLC is seeking an Entry-Level Application Engineer in the Libertyville, IL area. You will bridge Parts Sales and Product Management, providing technical part identification, cross-referencing, and retrofit quotations.

The role offers mentorship from Product Engineers, exposure to pricing, drawings, and customer applications, and a development path toward Product Engineer within a growing global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Entry-level position: 0-2 years of experience; internships/co-ops are a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineered design drawings.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX) and technical/parts databases is a plus; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical bridge between Parts Sales and Product Management for quotations and part identification.
• Triages incoming technical requests, routes design work to Product Engineers, and supports quote turnaround.
• Coordinate with Product Engineers for pricing and with PAS for quote generation and order entry in AX.
• Maintain cross-reference data, Standard Product List content, and CSP lists; contribute to Selling Boldly program.
