Job summary

UCC Environmental, a leader in sustainable technology solutions, is hiring an Entry-level Application Engineer in Libertyville, IL. The role connects Parts Sales with Product Management, providing first-line technical support for part identification, cross-referencing, and retrofit quotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 0–2 years of experience; internships/co-ops a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineered design drawings is required.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX) and technical or parts databases is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical bridge between Parts Sales and Product Management for quotations and part identification.
• Triage technical requests and route design/engineering work appropriately.
• Support quotes and data accuracy for PAS and Field Sales Offices; route requests for product engineering.
• Contribute to data maintenance for cross-reference lists and CSPs; support ongoing improvements.
